100cfm,

I heard Costello on CNBC and he mentioned 2 great news stories on QCOM. He mentioned the key patents were upheld in Europe and Japan (challenged by NOK, ERICY et.al.).

He mentioned the Toshiba CDMA license news also.

But really, it does not matter. If a company has a potential blockbuster patented technology and good management, then it doesn't make a hoot of difference what anybody says about them on TV.

All the posts on this board complaining about a conspiracy against QCOM is simply ridiculous. This is why the "QCOM Moderated Thread" was created. Complaining about CNBC coverage tells the rest of us that some participants on this thread have not been investing for very long.

Fundamentals will carry a stock IN THE LONG TERM. Sure, inaccurate bad press can really put a stock in the tank for a few months. Although I didn't enjoy seeing ALL my QCOM stock in the 50's, I still kept my sense of humor. I believe in this company and I put my money where my mouth is.

Hold the stock forever is what I say, and enjoy the manipulation both up and down. I sure have learned a lot from all this.

After all, we will never know enough about investing (especially on a short term basis)!
