I too, have a request.

Alice, a good Christian and wife of a friend I worked with prior to my retirement, has been fighting cancer for some time now and just when she thought it had gone into remission, now finds she has less than a year to live unless she has a major operation. It's scheduled for next Wednesday (26th). She asks only the Lord's will -- and strength and comfort for her family.

Heavenly Father, I ask for your care over Dan and Alice's health problems. Guide and direct those who care for them and give strength to them and to members of their families. If it is Your will, heal them and use their health problems to reach someone, showing Your love and care thru their witness. I also ask Father that You comfort the families of the young ones and their father who drowned in Texas recently. We can only partly imagine the devastation over their loss, but if they loved You, the GREAT joy they must feel being with You. Touch the remaining family Lord and make Your Love very real to them. I ask in Your name,
