I don't put much faith in gurus either but I do believe in learning from others. A close friend, now departed, once told me he made it a point to learn something from every conversation. I've tried to apply that philosophy every day and have found it alters my approach to people - even though I may not agree with what they say I find I can learn from their assumptions, analysis, conclusions, presentation, etc.

So to that end, I learned something from you even if you don't see value in Phil or his 15 points. Thanks for sharing your investment approach.
