RE: Any re-evaluation? Looks like the storage push/convergenet is going to be a bust, according to Ashok Kumar. Of course, this might be a positive if the initiative was going to cost more money than its worth, compared to becoming a re-seller.

I have heard NOTHING of the sort and as a matter of fact this is what I have to date:

"Helping to aid in Dell's push into the enterprise systems market, the company
will make a number of new product introductions in the storage area in the
second half of this year, including a entry level NAS offering
(September), a
replacement to its mid range PowerVault (November) and beta shipments of
its
ConvergeNet centralized shared storage (with about 6 customers beginning
in
late August) with volume roll out in early calendar 2001."

Unless I get anything else from DELL I'm going with this...And, this is current!
