I am very happy to see this thread you have started. Like others, it is a, downright, shame that such a thread is necessary in this nation that has fought for freedom so long, and so hard. How can any citizen not be proud of the achievements of our Founding Fathers? How can anyone not understand the sacrifices of the millions of men, and women, who left their farms, factories, offices, and homes to don the uniform of this nation, and lay their lives on the line, so that those that were left, could enjoy the most free nation on the face of this Earth? HOW DARE THEY?????
I am a flag waving, hand over the heart kind of person, and I shed tears every time I hear "Taps" being played over a fallen warrior, that fell for his countrymen.
