QCOM collect royalty on CDMA, WCDMA, red-CDMA, and blue-CDMA, any kind of CDMA.

QCOM also makes money selling chip set, CDMA, CDMA2000 chip set. Well W-CDMA chip set also if they comes out with it, however, they have to pay somebody on W-CDMA IPR since somebody else come out first with that particular flavor/color/size/"you name it" of CDMA.
