Subsequently, when Honeywell exited the computer business in the states, Bull was looking to establish a U.S. presence and voila. Leave it to the French to arrogantly assume they can turn an American business around, ala American Motors. I must admit Honeywell's performance in computers was equally abysmal. I audited their small computer products division in Lawrence Massachusetts and Milan Italy and would be hard pressed to identify a poorer run operation. To add a touch of marketing genius the French stuck with the name "Bull". Maybe it's a sign of strength over there. Here, it just smells strong. Regards, Greg
