i just eyeballed a simple overlay of the PoG and the XAU from '91 to today Since when did "eyeballed" become an acceptable form of statistical analysis? lol ".... both the PoG and the XAU definitely go in the same direction..." Well, going in the same direction is not a correlation. Try an X-Y scatter diagram and you'll see it isn't. Causal occurences occur for many reasons. Hutch
