Yep, aren't all of these modern advances just wunnerful?

Just been reading through tons of sludge documents, etc... WHAH... it's making me feel ill... Also getting totally grossed out about how so many companies are getting rid of their toxic industrial wastes by turning them into "fertilizers". Once a substance can be reclassified as a "fertilizer", in most cases, there are no restrictions on how and in what quantities it can be applied on agricultural land. Some of the things that are being "transformed" into fertilizers would just make you sick.

As if that's not all sickening enough, then you start reading about how quickly the need is to approve more and more new ways of getting rid of this (pick one - JUNK, SHIT, TRASH, TOXIC SLUDGE) because the amount of it is escalating astronomically with each passing day, week, month...

Makes me think that it's time to say to hell with it and start looking for some nice, quiet, out-of-the-way place to go off to so that I can live out the rest of my days paddling around in my canoe...
