Joe , QUESTION for ya. I'm told that a wide spread (.08), where normally it's a one or two cent spread indicates that MMs are running out of shares. Is that likely in your experience??

Yes, The large the spread is usually a great indicator of the actually float (tradable shares) that are in the market place. When one sees a large spread one will also notice very low volume.; however, if volume increases and maintains the spread will be forced to close.

A classic example recently is SBID.
