seriously, the energy nonsense proves beyond a shade of reasonable doubt that BLS basically publishes complete BS. they probably invent these data. actually if one considers that the remainder of the CPI basket is likely understated to the same extent that the energy component is understated, inflation is probably running at a 3 to 4 times higher rate than BLS says.

i agree that we're waiting on Harpo's next pronouncement...there is after all a huge spoo short position by the commercials that awaits covering at much lower prices...
