Consumer inflation rises 0.6 percent

WASHINGTON, July 18 — The consumer price index rose 0.6 percent in June, slightly above market expectations, but excluding energy costs, the index rose only 0.2 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said Tuesday.
