Rich: Buying bonds on an inflation spike is still a good idea IMO. Also, buying bonds on economic growth spurts is also a good idea. It seems as though a growth spurt is a better bet for now. I would watch the ten year and if you get it up around the 6.40% level, that would be a good place to buy. We are at 6.15% as I write. I would buy longer dated maturities at that point of between five and ten years of either government or high quality corporates.GMNAs fit the bill. Municipals for high bracket folks are still sweet.
