it is pretty certain that these high profile bankruptcies will cause numerous other business failures in their wake.

however, i don't see what difference a 1/4 rate hike from the zero level would make in connection with this. in fact it could be argued that anything that hastens the process of taking down the overindebted weaklings should be welcomed.

the faster they are removed from the system the sooner the economy will get a chance to recover for real.

the muddling through policies have obviously not worked...
