Perhaps we're both going to have to re-read the press release.

I thought the licensing deal between AMAT and UTEK was with respect to UTEK's Verdant technology - Specifically a PGILD product which is designed to substantially improve the ion implant processes with much better control over both dosages and the 3D geography for the implant. I didn't see anything in the release that dealt with UTEK's Lithography products.

Finally, AMAT does have a SCALPEL joint development agreement with ASML.
