"Strange, On one hand, you choose to disbelieve Microsoft's marketing. On the other, you choose to believe their brand position so completely that you ignore the facts. The only consistency seems to be that whatever you consider the most negative for Microsoft, you choose to believe."
Strange, I thought I made my point clear between the difference between an upgrade an a new OS. True, I do disbelieve MSFT marketing spin in some cases. Is MSN profitable like Yahoo or AOL? Who has more mindshare. The financial numbers do not lie when comparing MSN to other internet companies.
If you know the true facts, I would love to hear them. I admit I know only what I read and I believe a minority of that. When it comes to MSFT, "they are special", and I am even more skeptical.
Did I make myself clear to avoid any further confusion. If I were you, I would get a "crash" kit ready. May I suggest a shot of vodka, a dubey, and a valium. After 4:00 P.M. today you might need it when you hear operating earnings, revenue and foward guidance from the company. My timing may be wrong, but if I were you I would keep the kit handy. I am positive you are going to need it in the future.
