JB, Your question goes way too deep. You see, we all have an Uncle that makes us do it. His name is Sam. Don't worry about proforma. It is amortization, which is a non cash outlay. The most important thing is Operating Income. Look at it this way. Would you rather pay taxes on everything you earn, or would you like to take deductions off that figure?
