At one time break even was 5 units. Each unit above 5 added $500,000 to the net. If still true we are looking at minimum 9 scanners third quarter and 10 for the fourth.
Many well regarded Doctors and Hospitals are installing Imatron scanners. The Medical community seems to have a Herd mentality. Once the stampede grows the cost of production goes down and the administration gets spread over more units. Imat should get a quantity discount at some point from their suppliers.
