Unfortunately for those of us who are long NETP, Peppers & Rogers were not only ahead of the personalization curve, but more importantly, they are great marketers!!! I have lurked for months, am a 20 yr marketing professional, and have been continually frustrated by NETP's inept PR/Marketing. But, not knowing them personally and generalizing from my experience, they must be enraptured with their technology and do not understand the ROI, appropriately invested, of Marketing/PR investments (where is Piper/Jaffrey et al in this?). It makes me want to dump the stock at a loss, even though I believe in their existing and potential technological competitive advantages.
Also, does anyone have any direct insight/experience with their sales force/presentations...e.g., do they sell just on technology or, just happen to also include customer benefits, including financials?
