(Didn't mean to imply in my earlier note that I knew of one.). Dom's comments concerning a buyback are well put.

I visited their homepage this evening and noticed renewed emphasis of their not-necessarily-ATM solution in "Update of Powerhub Product Information" - along with a number of ATM related links. I had passed them a note a few weeks back suggesting they emphasize the PowerHub line more. I like the new look and it is much easier to see that ATM is not their only LAN solution - for those not quite ready (if ever) to implement ATM in their campus backbone. This is important if Fore is to begin to be perceived as a company with a "total" product solution like some of their competitors (Cisco, Ascend, 3Com, ...). If they sell you a PowerHub I'd expect it would be easier to add ATM (or GE) to it in the future.

I still think they need to become closely affiliated (bought out) with a BIG player that is willing/able to pay too much for them/us :-) I'm not sure what domestic company would fit well. Not to add to the speculation but can anyone think of an offshore alliance - Japan? If their competitors' alliances begin to look like they are paying off Fore is going to be hurting and it could be a fast drop. No hype here - just my opinion.
