i like the $2,3 bn. in interest and 'other' income (read: judicious dumping of over-inflated MU stock). zaitechu, US style... from what one hears re. pricing developments it is no surprise that operating earnings didn't improve much in spite of the sales gain. i wouldn't be surprised either if the new capacity ramp-up coincided with declining demand and not the 'expected strong demand'. that's anyway what usually happens in the semi industry...
