The MS stock repurchase initiatives are not comparable to Warren's discussion in 1999. Warren is talking about opportunity costs, and Berkshire Hathaway does not have a stock bonus plan (although Geico, Gen Re and other divisions did).

The MS buy-back plan is to offset its stock bonus plan for tax reasons, it is not an acquisitions company like Berkshire, it does not test its stock as such for alternative investment purposes AND his name is spelled "Buffett" not Buffet.

Asside from that, your pretty much correct. :)
