ok, I stand corrected, I guess I was a bit over-sarcastic. But the point remains that revenue out of p4 and Itanium would be small for the rest of the year. Intel emphasizing those revenues would not make them more important. If substantial portion of intel's income comes from capital gains then it is a financial organization with a unit the technology profit unit.
Not only that pe should be adjusted but also intel may become an issue at sec because of the conflict of interest that control of the market and investments in the same market.
Is it in the best interests of stock-holders to take that risk or to recognize bad year or 2 and continue as pure tech company? You are the stock-holder so it is up to you....
