From the after hours reaction, it does look like Michael Murphy was wrong on MSFT.

However, I've read a few articles about the MSFT earnings and some people are not impressed with MSFT's earnings and conference call. Here's the objections that I hear: (1) earnings from operations are just so-so -- growing at about 15% per year; (2) the only way that MSFT made its numbers was with investment income and MSFT's ability to make its numbers in the future with investment income will diminish now that those assets have been sold off; and (3) MSFT didn't renew its buyback program.

Let's see what happens tomorrow.
