If I wanted to know how to make a movie, I'd go ask a Hollywood liberal. Using the same logic, liberals should go to a conservative State if they want to know how to become more free.
These people ( libs) talk a lot about freedom- freedom for gays to marry, freedom for marijuana users (health?), freedom for prostitutes, gambling, etc...
In all the above cases, freedoms were secured for these basically inappropriate activities because of States' rights. The original right to be weird as granted by our Constitution. Those dead white guys, i.e. our Founding Fathers, tried to hand libs the keys to a legal nut house (any State they can take over), and the libs spit on them!
Libs have a knee-jerk reaction in favor of centralized government! The exact "wrong track", as Al Gore likes to say, to secure more freedom. Let's see, should I live in Cuba or in a country where I don't have to go to a demonstration when I don't feel like it? Should I stand in line for withered cabbage or have sushi delivered to my gated home? Should I listen to Fidel Castro all day or Howard Stern? Ok, that last one is a toss-up. But you see my point.
Strange. We creep towards socialism and centralized government because some Constitutionally-challenged whackos want more freedom! Hey! Wake up!! You're screwing yourselves, and that's not the kind of freedom (sexual or otherwise) you want!
You Hollywood libs. You want freedom? Try going to a highly conservative State and ask a highly conservative guy or gal how it's done. They'll talk your multi-pierced ears off about Nevada, Vermont and Arizona. And here's some more advice: Al Gore ain't the guy to get more freedom for you. Gore will fit you with a straight-jacket when an old fogey from lower Oklahoma will give you a robe you can leave open if you want. Counter-intuitive you say? No! Not if you've read the Constitution!
Hey, you want to "do your thing"? Or do you want your "thing" done in? Bill Clinton and Al Gore really aren't your "Big Brothers." They really don't know what's best for you (as if even your real big brother did! He lived in the same damn house as you and he still didn't have a clue what was best for you.)
