Cirrus, Junior George's environmental platform sounds identical to Reagan's. When Reagan was president, we had a Democratic Congress to stop him from doing too much damage, but we do not have that protection available any more. Supports conservation of land, wetlands and habitat, particularly by private landowners Brilliant concept. Why didn't Teddy Roosevelt think to put Yellowstone and Yosemite in private hands? I'm certain that Exxon would have done a much better job protecting these gems than the government. Recognizes that global warming should be taken seriously but will require any decisions to be based on the best science; opposes Kyoto Protocol i.e. Do nothing. Believes environmental standards must be based on the best science, market-driven technologies can provide solutions, and government should encourage innovation and going beyond compliance i.e. Sell out to the highest bidder. What a crock. Scumbria
