Sell out to the highest bidder.

Well, how about Al Gore Sr. and Jr. and their sugar-daddy, life-long commie Armand Hammer and his Occidental Petroleum? Occidental is obviously the highest bidder, since they are apparently the source of the Gore family wealth.

The latest is that Occidental Petroleum is about to drill in a rainforest. It has a bunch of tree-huggers up in arms. Occidental are doing all the good that you accuse the "other side" - spilling oil, contaminating lakes and rivers, taking over territory of some indigeneous tribe: thecitizen.net

Hey, they are coming to your backyard with it:
And Gore is also facing heat for his involvement in the sale by the Clinton administration of thousands of acres of oil-rich, publicly owned land to Occidental in 1997. The area is known as Elk Hills and it is located in Bakersfield, California. It is known as an ancestral land for Native American communities.

Two prior Republican presidents - Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan - had attempted to put Elk Hills on the auction block, but backed down in the face of widespread opposition. It was President Clinton, under the advice of Vice President Gore, who approved a deal to let oil companies buy some of the reserves, pushing a bill through Congress that made it possible to sell the government's interest in the 47,000 acre Elk Hills reserve to Occidental Petroleum for $3.65 billion. It was the largest privatization of federal land in the country's history, and it tripled Occidental's reserves overnight.

How much has Al Gore and his father been paid? How much does he owe to his "sponsor"? How much more wealth will be transferred from US treasury to pay off this debt?

Searching for this good stuff, I discovered that Occidental Petroleum somehow acquired 20% of all resources in the territory of Albania. Did Albania make an advance payment in this form for the future US invasion of Serbia (on behalf of the Albanians).
