Does anyone have any insight into why SNDK dropped this morning? It traded near 63 during the first half hour. Could this be another buying opportunity?

The only negatives that I see out there apply more generally to tech stocks. The Microsoft earnings report was nothing to write home about, even though it exceeded expectations. What may have turned off investors were comments that there seemed to be a weakening in PC sales, which of course would impact MSFT heavily. I also saw reports on QUALCOMM, which were quite negative, and which did not give a balanced picture of the potential for the stock. The institutional spin on QCOM resembles that for SNDK as well: "OK, so earnings may be very good for the quarter just completed, but wait and see about the slowdown in the next quarter." In other words, what they're really saying is that their earlier pessimism didn't pan out for SNDK and QCOM, but maybe it will in the current quarter.

Hogwash!
