1. We practice a lot here, find it fun, and do it elsewhere.
2. We have been in this SI game for so long, we often think we see through the shills, morons, actors, and ill-informed and are ready to point out what we see to all.
3. QCOM's price fall has got us all pissed off and we're just in a bad mood.
4. We are curmudgeons and that's the way we are.
1. Doing it elsewhere, sometimes unthinkingly, means we might offend others unfamiliar with the Curmudgeon theme, or Id's mantra.
2. Pointing out the idiocy can still be done "nicely". We've had enough skirmishes on the Main Thread with people who object to a lack of nicety, real or perceived.
3. Definitely, I qualify for number 3.
4. My curmudgeoness is a put-on; although the least curmudgeonly guy I know is really Nosmo-King.
What's the answer? I dunno. Maybe I should wear a boa, or pass out in the ICU.
