Goldstate Corporation (the "Company") announces that it has completed
 
its due diligence in regards to FP Telecom Ltd., an Alberta registered Company.
 
Toronto, Ontario, Jun. 23, 2000 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- After
completion of its due diligence the Company has decided not to move forward with
the acquisition of FP Telecom Ltd.
 
The Company regrets having to make this decision but its research indicated that
proceeding with the acquisition would not be in the best interests of the
company or its shareholders. The Company is exploring other projects and will
announce changes as they occur.
