It seems a little unfair to me that the
consortium is loaded with especially big
players who can afford to wage this battle.
The deep pockets include Aventis, Pfizer, Novartis,
Glaxo, SmithKline, Squibb, Roche--and I think
Orchid is now helping them.

Seems to me that dumping this amount of information
on the market, for free, creates a risk that they
will eliminate competition--competition from the
likes of Genset for example.

That seems like an "abuse of a dominant position"
and I wonder if the folks at Genset will sue them.
