This Temporary Internet Files folder stuff has me puzzled.

I've edited and re-compiled my directory manipulation program to handle directories with 'funny' attributes only to find that the files shown in Explorer doesn't exist in DOS --- Or so it seems.

A possible explanation ...
I work on this stuff off-line. It looks like IE deletes some of these files on exit. So.... When I'm looking, nothing's there: But when I'm posting, the folders fill. Since I post what I find, and I find silly things, I post silly stuff.

Anyway, I'm getting a clearer picture now. I intend to post what I discover once I tire of looking further, giving credence to the saying that a conclusion is what you have when you stop thinking.

Cheers, PW.
