EDS will meet it's guidance plus some -
except for revenue growth, the bottom line will slightly exceed first call numbers would be my best guess. EDS management still has credibility and they will continue to build on this. Therefore, who knows what happens after the 27th. I hold several stocks that just reported great numbers but they all got creamed the day after for no apparent reason. I think EDS is showing that their business model is still an outstanding one compared to all the new economy hype. I like bottom line results before looking at the top line. If I feel a company has plenty of revenue and should be improving the bottom line first before "investing" in growth, then I am satisfied if I see management getting the firm in fighting trim and realizing decent operating margins. I think this is the case with EDS. They have plenty of revenue and huge amounts of new business that needs to be brought online in an orderly and profitable manner with consistent customer satisfaction.
