Hi Michael,

If Earlie had been predicting a flattening of growth, or a saturation, I would not have been so excited.

While he has consistently predicted a sharp fall off in PC volumes for two years, the PC volumes have continued to grow at a modest 15-25% rate. Based upon the $1000 PC, he predcted a dramatic shrinkage of Intel's profits, but that has not happened. He was even predicting a decline in the usage of the Internet six months ago! Maybe he can be a foil for the wild eyed Internut fans, but he has been mispredicting PC volumes based upon the fortunes of the White Box Business.
