Hi Scumbria; Is ALi working on an RDRAM chipset for AMD's K7?

This is a great site for Chipset data. All the DDR chipsets are listed there.

P.S. Re RDRAM cost adder... Intel tried (without success) to get the memory makers to agree to a 50% higher price. One can only imagine that it will be some time before Samsung gets its cost adder down to the 5% they are hoping for.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the RIMM/DIMM ratio as low as 1.50 by the end of the year, but I would be surprised to see anything lower. This amount of money is far in excess of any royalty problems that could befall DDR.
