Making the news: biz.yahoo.com SDL Inc. (NasdaqNM:SDLI - news) rose to 400 in after-hours trading after closing at 359-5/8 on the Nasdaq. JDS Uniphase Corp. (NasdaqNM:JDSU - news) hit 120-1/2 after the regular trading session, up from its close of 106-3/4.
