Robert, no patent has been issued to LLY for the combined use. I only stressed that it is important to let everyone know that LLY has just filed for a patent and none has yet been issued and that LLY itself says it has not done any trials combining Protein C with any form of BPI to support the prophetic filing. I am very impressed with your find and do think it is important. I also think the Merck combinational patent potentially using XOMA Mycoprex peptides in combination is of interest. But here too no actual with the XOMA peptides was done.
