Dave-in-MarinCa,
Re: "they [Fed] choose to continue to liquefy the M2"

I have been following Mr. Moto and this has been his take. However, Brinker has said clearly on the Radio that growth in M2 has been significantly slowed. In his most recent newsletter he listed the year over year change in M2 as 2.6%. I have the old issues and this is indeed a much reduced growth rate from previous periods.

Furthermore, go to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis site and you'll see the chart indicates a sharp leveling off (or, should I say an oblique leveling off?) of the growth in M2.

Mr. Moto seems bright so I don't understand his take on M2 growth. Am I missing something?

Ciao,
David Todtman
