I short on Island AH all the time using Datek. In fact an up-tick is not required on Island AH as far as I can tell. You can sell anytime.

I think many people have the YHOO and BRCM run-ups branded into their trading rulebooks. There may be a brief pullback tomorrow, if the MM have to short size to meet demand. I would be surprised, however, if there is a long pull-back. By now everyone knows the stock is going to go up. Who in his/her right mind would sell ahead of the inclusion?

I think the beginning of the summer slump started in the last two days. I think techs get a reprieve tomorrow, partly because of JDSU. However, a slump could work two ways. On the one hand, JDSU will get pulled down with the Naz. On the other, where else are the momo players going to go if the rest of tech is dragging?

Just my guesses about next week.
