Hey George Bell, are you listening?

In a legal sense, and a practical one for that matter, "fault" is determined by judgement and results in a righting of a wrong, in such a way that the end result negates the "wrong". All of this at the expense of the "one" who is "at fault".

By extension, and in the purest sense, one always knows who is at fault by observing who paid the "tab" for the particular "wrong" that was committed. The question that should be asked of any "wronged" business is, "If it wasn't your fault, why did you pay the judgement to right the wrong?"

If a shareholder, then are we not the hapless pawns of this storefront company?

Of course, good management would have planned on the contingency for a modem shortage along with plans for a big surge in installation.

Poor management, on the other hand, would be winging it and deal with problems as they arise. They would look for an excuse for missing new goals they set while perpetuating reason for concern on WS about their competency in the process of CYA management...hey, that sounds a lot like ATHM!

I've only lost huge sums of money in this stock on paper, it's not a loss until I sell...if I say it often enough maybe I'll really find solace in the phrase...though I hope not, it might take away the anger I feel toward the mismanagement and the interference of so many already wealthy idea guys trying to turn bigger personal profits at our expense, by making this company dance to 'their' tunes.

Give them 50,000 less subs, Bell's number the other day, for the transistor fire. They still fell short of what they need to be on target by near 80,000 more.

Pissed me off.

And PV growth was not good. Why aren’t they selling, for free, the new Excite2000 portal page to everyone on dialup? If it domes in the page view hits with searches etc. to increase the number of hits we register why limit it to BB users?

Dumb.

Just cleaning house with the brain drain or have many key nuts and bolts guys also left due to extremely poor performance of the stock and the company? The PV numbers hint that someone is not minding the store as well as need be...for OUR, the shareholders, interest.

Good points, Mike. I was being way too kind to management by letting them slide with the Colgate bright white teeth smile answer of 'it was the modem shortage but we fixed it now.'

Did Bell tell anyone how he planned to make the 3 million by 12/31? As much as I'd like it to happen, in my book it had best NOT be due to Chello, self-installs, or UMG.

Why?

Cause in Q1 these were intangibles. For him to shoot off his mouth like that just to sound strong-
when he certainly needed to because of his waffling and reneging on the profitability claim-
without having a clear, dependable path to get from here to there is bullshit.

I guess I am tired of my fortunes being tied up in so much bullshit.

Hey George Bell, are you listening? Really?

A toast to Bullshit and that maybe WS doesn't care anymore and our fortunes will improve! Here, here!
