Eli says its unbelievable!
I find the confusion and ignorance Very believable.
I have been following SNDK for about 4 years. SNDK is an outstanding engineering company!
They are improving at sales.
They have proven lawyers!
They suck at Forecasting.
They do an adequate job of writing press releases.
They suck at getting their story told by the investing and main stream press in a way that is not confusing.
Who gets paid to reduce the confusion? I don't think Ausdauer gets paid to reduce the confusion. I think his payback is a rising stock price.
Why doesn't SNDK have a toll free conference call number?
Where is the replay number?
The operator on the conference call was inept.
Make it easier for the investing community to hear their story and maybe there would be less confusion!
Eli, you are to blame for the ignorance and confusion in the investing community.
Since they are booked so far in advance, why not move up their quarter reporting to the first week of the month when there are less companies reporting? Less competition in getting the message out. More of a chance to get the senior analysts on the calls instead of their flunkies.
Why did Niles leave Robby?
Why hasn't Niles repeated his strong buy rating on SNDK?
What is Lehman's relationship with Fidelity?
Who underwrote the SNDK secondaries?
Is Isreal giving a grant (read, not loan) to Tower Semiconductor? Does that sound like socialism or fascism to anyone else?

"This quote deserves to be repeated: << I can't believe how many people don't understand our business. It is crazy. I just listened to the SSTI call saying that 80% of their sales came from 2Mbit flash. We sell 256Mbit flash. Toshiba, Sandsik, Hitatchi, and Samsung are the only companies that make this, and all of the other flash capacity being added isn't going to alleviate the situation. >> That was pretty close to his exact words, though he went on and was even more emphatic about how little people differentiated between Sandisk's flash and the flash that INTC, AMD, ATML, SSTI, and others sell. I think, but am not sure that the next analyst who spoke apologized for his own ignorance on that point. Some people will have to go do some homework. Eli said something like the "ignorance and misinformation about our company and the whole sector is unbelievable" (his emphasis)." |
