frank...."change in strategy"

no, not really.....remember the mantra...

buy puts when oversold....same as going long low...
close when overbought same as selling high...

sounds consistent to me.......

how do you know......not so difficult...if you understand the momentum element and trend reversal of price action....a slow stochastic is extremely reliable, tie it with a williams and you can see turning points....knowledge and experience of the stock price action smooths out the jagged edges

qcom has downside risk as it is overbought....the cycle can take a few days to weeks....it is not a perfect call, but correct more then incorrect....if you apply it to stocks that are fundamentally strong, then you convert to a ltb+h stategy if assigned....i was assigned qcom at 79 adjusted cost basis on 6/19....i'm holding shares in inventory, and writing cc's at overbought moments...wrote july 82.5 on 6/22 with the common at 67, for a 1.5 prem....further reducing my cost....

i posted in ricks ta game that mid fifties probably...if oversold is concurrent with that point i will probably sell puts....

in conclusion....buy low sell high, buy high, sell higher....sometimes you win, sometimes you lose....but as long as you end up with more then you started with, and take it off the table for tangible investments, then life is good!

good luck unc!
