Jump to first matched term
KIRKLAND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2000--Jim Brewer, President of SHPE, dba North Coast Productions
Inc. (NCPI), announced today that it has reached a definitive acquisition agreement to acquire and merge with Nickel Palace,
Inc., of Burbank, CA. The terms of the merger were not disclosed.

Jim Brewer said, "The merger with Nickel Palace is the initial step in the implementation of NCPI's business plan. We are
pleased to be associated with the talent of the Nickel Palace management team." The company is in full production of "Rennie's
Landing", currently filming in Los Angeles. Management expects to release the film in Spring 2001.

Starring roles in "Rennie's Landing" includes Scott Foley, best known as co-star of Warner Brothers' "Felicity"; Peter Facinelli
who co-starred in "The Big Kahuna"; Ethan Embry who is currently starring in the new Fox series "Freaky Links"; and Charlotte
Ayanna who was recently featured in the film "The Blue Iguana".

Principals of Nickel Palace are highly skilled and motivated young entertainment industry visionaries with key production
experience. The company's business model dictates controlling production costs to under $5 million per picture. This model

screen exposure. SHPE plans to acquire an existing distribution company that can provide control of marketing its feature films.
The goal is production of 4-5 feature films per year, along with various television productions.

The Company is negotiating with seasoned veterans who will enhance the Company's future acquisitions and position the
Company as a respected independent production company.
