True to form for this type of situation, JDSU opened up dramatically higher (a bit higher than I expected) and then dropped. I shorted more at 127 5/8 and covered my position at 121 5/16. This trade seems very speculative. However, I think it is highly predictable and therefore tradable. I have an order in at a lower price and may jump in real time and buy JDSU. I think the stock is more likely to move up, particularly around the day of the listing.
