A little late for April Fools, isn't it??
But to really believe this story, one would have to believe, 1) an SS-18 only carries one warhead of 25 megaton size, instead of its normal MIRV load of 10 warheads of 550/750 Kiloton yield each...,

or 2) that such an huge explosion could occur without setting off seismographs around the world (making it difficult to hide), and 3) that privately owned sattelites (like SPOT) would not have detected the blast.
Just ridiculous, but extremely representative of the type of BS you consistently show yourself gullible enough to believe, like the claims of GATA.
At the most, maybe one of their missiles actually blew up and spit the warhead out the silo hatch and downrange a couple of miles, like what happened to us at a Titan Base in Arkansas several decades ago... They've suffered several incidents like that in the past, but you just don't set off Nuclear devices with a hack saw. Hell, we dropped a couple of these things out of a bomber back in the 60s by accident and they didn't go off.
