Phil,

Slight profit for ETRADE vice multi-millions. Although some fail to recognize the reason for 500K versus say '50 Million' is the tax consequences. Why pay a significant percentage of your profit to taxes when it can be funneled into something like advertising which enhances ETRADE's position in the future. Taxes do not. ETRADE is just making efficient use of its money. For those that wish otherwise, think again. The longer it stays depressed, the more I can accumulate although each time I do, my basis goes up.
