Slacker,

I have been very high on PCS since approx. the same timeframe(97) I came across QCOM, and for most of the same reasons. I owned FON initially, then sold it and waited for PCS once the tracker was confirmed. Long since single digits, also like QCOM.

Amazing though, is I follow QCOM like a hawk, but pretty much have PCS on auto-pilot. They have the technology, an aggressive parent born in a competitive environment, and a tracking stock structure allowing them to plan for the long-term and ignore the short-term losses. Unfortunately, that same structure requires a potential suitor to buy FON to get PCS. Even though the WCOM deal did not provide much of a takeover premium, it did allow us to participate directly in PCS's future via a WPCS tracker. They also would have been an aggressive parent. We may not be so lucky next time.
