YYB, you're wasting your time with this.
I prefer to let the records of the "experts" speak for themselves, and go about my merry way of making bundles of cash on my own.
I saw the post that you pointed out, too. I had assumed that ed had some sort of a nervous breakdown, because I knew that he really didn't mean it. Unfortunately, those that follow such sage wisdom might not figure it out. Nevertheless, I'm sure that they figured it out when he wrote the corrected post. It's good to see that he did admit to the mistake, and corrected the post.
My main reason for even bothering to post this to you is to show my support for your existence on SI. It was obvious that you were being ganged-up on by one of the trained attack monkeys (even though you did invite the attack by pointing out the errors of the infallible). Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted the effort, since this thread is so full of content now a days...<G>
Remember that there's always an excuse to every mistake, and one that rarely admits error in that crowd. If they're making money following a less-than-original-thought, rule book, then so be it.
I'm simply amazed that someone here is given credit for being the teacher, when most of what is said, when it is correct, can be found in numerous books on the subject- Very little analysis involved. I could be guilty of that too, I guess, but I never claimed to be (nor was I offered as) a teacher or expert on options strategy. For those that claim to be constantly learning from that type of instruction, I would say that perhaps they ought to be doing paper trades rather than playing with real money...
Oh well, I've probably just stirred up some more trouble. Nevertheless, I think that posting to you was the right thing to do in light of the negativity that has been thrust upon you.
Regards,
LoF
PS... Minions, don't bother posting to me. If a response to this is needed, let the Master come do his own replying... |
