Thanks for the scoop, Rman. I was reading they were going to need to use cows for the HSA deal. I know both PPL and GZTC have herds of transgenic goats. If its as hit and miss as you say, must take them a while to get a specific production herd together. I can see how cloning would speed up the process considerably. But once they get good producers, the protein itself should be of normal quality and effectiveness, no? Without associated human viruses and in great quantity?

I don't much fancy mouse milk. Besides the taste, think of all the trouble you'd have with the milking.
