wow, w/ INSP at 50, I see you can sell a Jul50C for 1.9375. w/ ONE day left. that's some premium. worth the risk only if you know the stock real well. the only thing I know about INSP is that it's one of those volatile stocks :-) and now I see why.
--- well you caught Brown at probably their worst for any 3 month period. of course I hear now that if you are an active trader of Naz stocks, that their payment-for-order flow is not routing very 'advantageously' shall I say? :-) of course, Schwab does the same, and they're even the MM's.
for options, I would think Brown is fine. they're not the best, but I've always had a 'matter-of-fact' service from them. not bad, not falling-over-great.
i guess it depends on whether you like trading online or live more. Brown's online is very simple, matter-of-fact. you can send orders w/o confirms and there's no timeout. the one bad thing is there's no UROUT confirmations on cancels. you have to call if you want to know for sure UROUT. I've gotten adjusted to that for now. as you know, w/ options, it's often not hard to tell when you are out on a cancel. and if you're not, they used to be pretty prompt about calling you to tell you otherwise :-) |
